Veterinarians
Dr. G. David McCarroll is a 1973 graduate of Texas A&M
University. He has spent most of his veterinary career devoted
to the health and care of the horse. In 1979 he obtained
Diplomat status in the American College of Veterinary Internal
Medicine. He has taught equine medicine and surgery at
Oklahoma State University and the University of Tennessee. In
1984 he entered private practice in central Oklahoma. He went
on to establish Interstate Equine Services, Inc. in Goldsby,
Oklahoma in 1993. His main areas of interest include lameness,
arthroscopic surgery, and general medicine. Dr. McCarroll
currently enjoys serving the horse owning public as a veterinarian
and raising and showing horses in central Oklahoma with his family.

Dr.
Joe Boecker
is a 1974 graduate of The Ohio State University. Before
becoming an integral part of Interstate Equine Services, Inc., Dr.
Boecker was engaged in private equine practice and quarter horse
breeding farm management in Minster, Ohio. Dr. Boecker's
association with Interstate Equine Services, Inc. began in April of
1999. His special area of interest is equine dentistry and
herd health management. |

Dr. Mike Schoonover is a 2000 graduate of Oklahoma State University. Following
graduation, he completed a one year internship at The Ohio State
University in Equine Field Services. He then went on to complete
a 3 year equine surgery residency at Oklahoma State University where
he also received a Master of Sciences in Veterinary Biomedical
services in 2004. Dr. Schoonover is board-certified by the
American College of Veterinary Surgeons in large animal surgery.
His main areas of interest include lameness diagnosis, endoscopic
surgery, and urogenital surgery.

Tom
Wendel is joining Interstate Equine Services, Inc. as an intern.
He graduated from, Tarleton State University in 2004 with an animal
science degree and will receive his DVM from Texas A&M College of
Veterinary Medicine in May 2008. His main area of interest is
equine sports medicine. In his free time, he enjoys bird
hunting, fly fishing, and taming the slopes of the Colorado Rockies.
